Born and raised in Santa Barbara, CA, Cara Maccianti began following her passion for presenting beauty over 17 years ago when her best friend, a hairstylist, made her come to set and be her “makeup artist” for a shoot… the rest is history!

As a licensed esthetician and skilled makeup artist Ms. Maccianti combines her passion for skin care and makeup into a profession she loves.   That passion is evident in all areas of her work whether it’s backstage at the Billboard Awards, doing makeup and hair for The ACMA’s for a hot nominated group, Live TV for ESPN WSOP, 3D Hair and makeup for Poker After Dark on NBC Commercial or being called by various celebrities for Red Carpet Glamour.  You can also see her work can be seen on The cover of December 2011 MAXIM Magazine.

All of her clients would agree that her professionalism, skills, sense of humor, honesty and dedication is what sets her apart from other makeup artists.  Her experience working for her Agency, assistant beauty editor, contributor, and writer for a national men’s magazine ENVY MAN and regular writer and contributor to various blogs, has helped hone her eye, not only the creative aspect of makeup and writing, but from the production side as well.
